We managed to raise a total of R210 000 for the Coal for Hope in 2019.
Our Beneficiary was Optimum Mine workers impacted by mine closure. The funds we recieved were used for Grocery and necessities packages for the mine workers.
We managed to raise a total of R100 000 for the Coal for Hope in 2020.
Our Beneficiary was Local SMMEs impacted by Covid-19. The funds we received were used for Used to buy food parcels for employees of small and medium-sized companies, which support the mines, which had lost income due to COVID-19.
We managed to raise a total of R370 000 for the Coal for Hope in 2021.
Our Beneficiary was Langalethu brick making project in Klariniet. The funds we received were used for ProcureD brickmaking equipment, material and training for a group of women at the Langalethu Drop in centre in Klariniet, Emalahleni.
We managed to raise a total of R400 000 for the Coal for Hope in 2022.
Our Beneficiary was Vukani Youth Printers and Sakhisizwe sawing project in Ogies. The funds we received were used for The projects are skills development initiatives to help the youth in design and printing for the Vukani Youth Printers and Sakhisizwe sawing and dress making projects.
We managed to raise a total of R500 000 for the Coal for Hope in 2023.
Our Beneficiary was Mapimpana Children's Project at Doornkop. The funds we received were used for an after school feeding scheme for more than 200 children in the area. The funds were requested to upgrade the buildings so they can safely prepare meals for more kids and also assist them with school work after school.
We managed to raise a total of R500 000 for the Coal for Hope in 2024 in pledges.
Our Beneficiary was Kedithabitha Agriculture & Projects (Pty) Ltd is a dynamic and enterprising agro business that was established to produce fresh farm produce in 2008 by Thabitha Chauke.
The company is wholly South African, black female owned and was incorporated under Certificate of Incorporation No. 2012/188294/07 and we are a B-BBEE Level 1 Contributor. Their goal is manage and coordinate the production, marketing and sale of fresh produce in Lephalale and support fellow small scale farmers in the district through mentoring and training and assist them to access reliable and sustainable market for their produce.
In 2025, Roodebank Primary School was identified as the beneficiary. Roodebank Primary School is a public school designated as Quintile 3, and situated in a farm 18 km from eMbalenhle township. The school is a no fee paying school. The infrastructure is no longer conducive for learning and teaching as the school was built in 1946. Currently the school has 246 learners and 07 educators and 2 supporting staff. This schools has potential to cater for 400 or more learners if it can be supported. to the construction of a building to carry on feeding and educational programs.

Thes initiative has been well supported by you and we are grateful.
We would like to continue with this campaign to have sustainable impact in our industry and the communities that we work in. This will focus on supporting the underprivileged people in our communities that are not supported by any mine’s Social Labour Plans or CSI programs.
We believe that assisting people to learn and develop skills will enable them to get income and create
sustainable jobs that will support more families.
